This idea didn't quite work out as we Sprinters thought it would; the idea was to go out and find some clipart and random pieces of high quality art to include in this collection, as a kind of starting point for people's own artwork.  We ended up finding four things and not really being clear on what use they could possibly be.

We're still not sure, but here they are.  Look at them as an example, or for inspiration, or for textures, or maybe to become part of your own artwork (but if you use it, don't be a jerk and make sure you do credit the artist!).  This is hopefully just the beginning of the Creative Commons revolution, and eventually we'll have big stores of raw artwork to share and swap, with an ever-increasing AUTHORS or CHANGELOG file attached to it, showing all the people who have contributed.
